St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, Braintree, MA

New $6M construction of 8,460 sq ft architecturally complicated Byzantine style church and attached 12,600 sq ft community center and classrooms. Logistic challenge included the large number of curved surfaces; much of the internal structure had to be built on the floor and hoisted to the roof line curves. Utilities had to be located up and over the curves while limiting the visibility issues. Site contained high water table.
